Welcome!
We're pleased to have you visit Salt Meadow Gallery
on-line and hope that you will enjoy this experience
nearly as much as a visit to the actual Gallery.
Located along Cape Cod's scenic Old King's Highway
in East Sandwich, Salt Meadow Gallery is a new and
distinctive gallery where you'll find the art is
evocative, approachable, and surprisingly affordable.
Our goal is to engage Gallery visitors by offering
you a unique experience - quite different from what
you'll find at other Cape Cod galleries - with an
ever-changing collection of fine art, sculpture,
hand-blown glass,
decorative art and antiques. We show the work of
some of the finest established
and emerging artists from the Cape Cod area
as well as from around the country.
We want our visitors to feel comfortable and to
enjoy themselves. If you understand and appreciate
great art, then come inside and share your thoughts
and experiences with us. But, you don't have to
be an art expert to appreciate and enjoy the Gallery.
And, you don't have to be an expert to own good,
original artwork. There are many very talented artists
who are creating engaging artwork that is affordable,
of exceptional quality, and that is something that
you and just about everyone can enjoy in their own
homes. We want to help you discover those artists
and that artwork here at the Gallery.
Through the years, our experience has shown that
a lot of people are afraid of art: afraid that they
will somehow make a mistake in buying it, afraid
that they don't know how to tell what is good from
what is just passable, afraid that they will overpay
for a piece. One of our goals at Salt Meadow Gallery
is help people get over those fears by showing them
that it is not all that difficult to find and buy
something that you like. After all, if you're buying
artwork for your home or as a gift, it should be
something that you like and will be happy to live
with. And, the Gallery is full of art that you would
be happy to own and be around every day. We
hope you enjoy your visit here on-line and that
you will visit the actual Gallery soon. We are
happy to answer any questions you may have and
hope that you will share your thoughts and interests
with us.
